You can use Squidoo to market just about anything with very little limitations. There are rules of course but nothing that will limit your success and they are designed to make it fair on everyone.
Karl is no stranger to online marketing. He has had successful websites, adsense campaigns and has made large sums of money with Ebay. When those methods became overcrowded and great results were harder and harder to achieve Karl decided to find a new method to achieve the results he needed and his search led him to Squidoo. The sales page is a bit on the Hypey side but I was recommended this book from a reliable source so I bought it despite my reservations.

When I opened the book and realized that it was 165 pages my first thought was that it would take me ages to get through it but I got started anyway. The book has a great contents section so if there is something you need to refer to or you know what Squidoo is you can skip that bit and get straight into the meat of the program by going directly to that page. I didn’t want to miss anything so I read the whole lot in one sitting. Karl has a very down to earth writing style making it an easy read and you’ll find yourself itching to get back to Squidoo and try out his methods as he describes them. If this book doesn’t get your brain buzzing with ideas for your next Squidoo lens then you’re in the wrong business.

You will learn a whole lot of things, some of which I would never have thought of doing with Squidoo. Here is a list of just some of the things you will learn:

You will be given step by step instructions on how to use Squidoo to drive traffic to your blogs, web sites, affiliate campaigns or whatever you have going. He explains how and why things work in great detail that is easy to understand.

There are a few bonuses you get when you purchase which will come in handy when you’re sprucing up your lenses. He gives you some banners and buttons and some funky clip art that really helps to make your lens stand out. Another of the things I really liked about the book is that there is a chapter on what HTML you are allowed to use in your lenses and he teaches how to use it. You can basically copy and paste the code into your lens and then tweak if for your needs.

There is one method he describes as leaching traffic on his sales page but when you read through the book it’s not really leaching, If the book didn’t come highly recommended I may not have bought due to this claim. What he describes is a method that really only helps to index your lens and possibly get someone to click through to your lens from someone else’s. All perfectly legit and above board when you understand exactly what he is going on about.

So who needs this book anyway? If you’re new to Internet Marketing and Squidoo then this is a really great starting point. All the methods are free except for list building which you may need to subscribe to a service for. If you have started and know about web building but haven’t had anything to do with Squidoo then this is also a great introduction to marketing with Squidoo and you probably wouldn’t need anything else. I would also even suggest that if you’re an experienced Internet Marketer then this book will have bits and pieces that will help you boost your campaigns performance. It’s absolutely chock full of information for all types of Internet Marketers and well worth the investment.
