So I’ve built the website and as I’ve got no imagination and it’s a totally new niche to me I’ve bought some PLR stuff to use for ideas. I use PLR when I’m feeling lazy and can’t be bothered or don’t have time to scour forums. I don’t copy and paste but just use it to kick start my brain. Usually I’ll read the whole lot of articles that I’ve purchased and start writing, occasionally referring to it for facts and figures. I should really invest in some sort of Article writing program but I started with a set amount of funds for my online venture and it won’t stretch to $67 monthly for the program Mark and Court recommend.

I’ve basically got the articles I need ready to submit them to the article directories but currently I am building a few Squidoo lenses around them. Squidoo is great and I reckon it’s going to be profitable for me as I’m using methods outlined in PotPieGirl’s One Week Marketing Guide. Another thing I would like to do with the website, even though there should be heaps of traffic for adsense according to my research.  is to monetize with some affiliate programs I am in that totally fit what the website is about. I don’t know if I’m supposed to do that but I created a sub domain separately for an affiliate shop and I should be able to make use of a Joomla installation to recreate the look and feel of my niche blog site.

I recently bought a data feed manager for Joomla and I’ve been busting to use it but haven’t had a reason to. It’s just an idea I had that I never got around to implementing so thought I might try to use it on this site.
